The Sister's of Charity

Sisters from all over Nova Scotia and some from the United

States came to teach at the E.H. Horne School in Enfield . Along
with the donation for the school, the Horne's gave the parish
money to purchase a home. This would serve as a convent for
the sisters who came to Enfield to teach. The sisters lived here
until 1984. Here are some names Sister Mary Vincentia, Sister
Tresita Marie Dwyer, Sister Mary Roberta Pettipas, and Sister
Alfred Marie Petralia.
